Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a safe and effective cosmetic procedure offered at Advanced Medical Weight Loss & Skincare. Using a sterile surgical blade, our skilled aesthetician or dermatologist gently exfoliates the skin and removes vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz.

Dermaplaning can be performed on any part of the body, but it is most commonly done on the face. The procedure is quick, lasting about 30 minutes, and relatively painless.

After cleansing and disinfecting the skin, our expert uses the surgical blade at a 45-degree angle, employing short, upward strokes to remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz. The skin is then cleansed again and moisturizer is applied, with the recommendation of wearing sunscreen for sun protection.
